Avid fans of Friends would know how Joey would have his way with his charm. Pretty much akin to it, LeBlanc had himself held in high esteem when he knew how to be a true man. The 22nd episode of Season 2 of the show, The One With The Two Parties, ended with LeBlanc’s Joey having to lean in and kiss Thomas’ character. In an interview with US Weekly, the actress opened up that LeBlanc had actually asked for her “permission” before filming it.
“Matt shyly asked my permission to really lay one on me. So cute!” Thomas’ clear indication of the manner in which LeBlanc approached her for consent. A rarity to find, the revelation simply elevates the actor’s already beloved persona. Further, the actress’ words go on to highlight other cast member’s approval of the same. Thomas’ on-screen daughter’s actress, Jennifer Aniston, had also gone on to say that LeBlanc was “the biggest teddy bear.”
As gentlemanly as he is, Matt LeBlanc shall forever stay indebted to Friends for turning over his fortunes.

It is a pretty known fact that Matt LeBlanc was a struggling actor trying to make ends meet. Before his breakthrough with Friends, the actor had even contemplated giving up acting and becoming a full-time waiter. Even worse than his on-screen portrayal of Joey’s struggles, LeBlanc was stretched to the point that he had to do his own dental work. Yet, the fortune bells came ringing.
As the first season of Friends came to a close, the actor had gone on to become one of the most acclaimed globally. Following its ten-season run, the actor had already made millions and a lifetime of memories from it. Soon after, he also starred in a short-lived spinoff titled Joey. With three Primetime Emmy nominations, the actor then went on to lead in Man With A Plan and four seasons of Top Gear.
