It’s the Invictus Season! And the Germany Session has kick-started the 6th round of the international sports festival in full bloom. The German Federal Armed Forces and the city of Dusseldorf have proudly come together to celebrate what the Duke had launched six years back in 2014. Prince Harry made a surprise appearance for the commencement of the same in a video recording. This takes us back to last year’s one of the most heartwarming beginnings of the game ever. All thanks to Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were present in person for the 2022 Invictus Games. The sports festival was held in The Hague, Netherlands with a series of opening activities before the onset of the competitions. While the entire series has many swoon-worthy moments of the Sussex couple, one actually brought everyone to tears. On the night of the opening ceremony, Meghan Markle delivered a heartwarming speech honoring the athletes. 

However, what marked the highlight of the ceremony was Markle’s sweet homage to the Prince before handing him the mic. While introducing the Prince, the Duchess expressed with a wide smile across her face, he’s the one who “spent many late nights and early mornings planning for these games.” He put all of his efforts to make the games as perfect as possible for all the injured or sick veterans or active soldiers across the world. 

And seeing Markle’s speech, fans cannot help but gush about it.

Sussex fans cannot get over this Harry-Meghan Moment 

The Duchess could not love and respect him more as she enlisted all of his big and small achievements throughout his life. With all of it, she welcomed on stage, the founder of the Invictus Games and the father of their two little ones, Archie and Lilibet, and her “incredible husband,” Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. While the Duke climbed up to the stage with a hoard of applause, Markle went seemingly teary while gushing with emotions about Prince Harry. 

The two love birds shared a rare kiss in public as Markle left the stage to her husband. The Duke too, was also emotional as he saw the crowd cheering for the couple at their best. His beginning his own speech by saying, “Thank you, my love” to Meghan Markle was the cherry on top for the fans. The Internet has been forever in love with the special moment shared by the Sussexes.
