It is often a misconception amongst the masses that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, caused the downfall of the long-standing British Empire. While the age-old debate has still left fans divided, Markle has always found herself at the receiving end of all criticism. Often accused of turning Prince Harry, the Duchess has allegations of brainwashing and mesmerizing the Duke against his own family. However, little did we know that the Duke’s resentment of the Crown was a long time before he found the love of his life.

The Duke has a never-ending saga of breaching headlines with his bombshell through interviews. Be it the infamous Oprah Winfrey CBS special, the Spare promotional interviews, or even the ones before them, Prince Harry has always stirred up the royal fandom with his shocking truth bombs. One such interview that had not been seen much day might have resurfaced back on the internet. Way back in 2017, Prince Harry sat for yet another controversial interview where he spoke his heart out.

One of the primary revelations that have caught the attention of royal spectators is how he wanted to part from his family way before he even met with Meghan Markle. The Duke, as reported by Daily Express, opened up to Angela Levin, to claim he “wanted out” of the extraordinary privilege he was born into. According to the Duke’s own words, he was always in favor of leading an “ordinary life” rather than one in the spotlight.
