According to a recent report by Deadline, Lexi Underwood, Case Walker, and Kat Cunning have got on board to star in a macabre comedy from District 78 Films and Father Greg Productions, Bad Karaoke. The plot revolves around a group of cover band members traveling from Portland, Oregon, to Napa for a wedding performance. However, things take a darker turn as they stumble upon an abandoned karaoke machine at the back of a dive bar.

Songwriter Emily, bassist Noah, and their band find ways to defeat the cursed instrument before it finishes them off. Underwood plays the songwriter Emily, Walker portrays the bassist Noah, and Cunning is the band’s lead singer Hannah, who accepts the fact she is a cover band musician only to learn it could be the end of them. Dark horror humor is not exactly a new development in Tinseltown, but it has always remained timeless for cinephiles seeking genre-bending horror.
