League Conquered, Now Time for a Side Quest? Can Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham AFC Faceoff Natalie Portman’s Angel City?
When Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney decided that they did not just want to enjoy football from the sidelines, the world looked at them with understandable skepticism. In the world of football, where Hollywood stars only made for a celebrity spotting in the benches, the R & R were akin to misfits. However, to say that they have exceeded expectations would be an understatement given how the Wrexham FC owners, with every move, only edge fans to expect more. But Wrexham FC has quite a high-profile fanbase consisting of stars like Salma Hayek, Will Ferrell, and even fellow football team owner, Natalie Portman.
Portman has diligently followed Ryan Reynolds’ footsteps as a football club owner and her HBO documentary depicting the Angel City FC’s win is a testament to this. And now as Wrexham FC gets promoted, Portman is hoping for a friendly match between their clubs.

It has been a series of serious matches for Wrexham FC as they channeled all their passion and strength in order to become the title holders. But long before their men’s team could bring them a promotion, the Wrexham FC women’s team hoisted the Genero Adran North champions trophy and became a semi-professional team.
