As the L.A. wildfires continue to run ablaze, the magnitude of destruction only continues to become greater with the passing time. While the fire itself has brought down monuments to ashes, displacing several families, including many celebrity mansions as well, the reactions to said wildfire elicited by various celebrities have proven to have a similar streak of destruction. Jumping on this bandwagon are Danny Trejo and Kim Kardashian.

Following the crossfire between the UK royals and Jason Bateman's sister, another celebrity attack has unfolded amidst the wildfires.

With Los Angeles being the hub for all things Hollywood, the elite were not given a pass for this natural calamity. However, it seems that while Kim Kardashian managed to steer clear of the fire spreading across town; she caught a blazing wave on the Internet, directed straight at her by Danny Trejo in his interview with TMZ, where he called out celebrities for pushing a cause and making things political during such trying times.

The SKIMS owner had recently taken to her Instagram account, with roughly over 358 million followers, and advocated for the Governor of California to increase the pay of incarcerated firefighters, which has for the longest time been $1 per hour. This, for Danny Trejo, who has been behind bars himself, did not sit well.

Trejo, like many celebrities and citizens alike, has found his livelihood at stake amidst the ongoing fires, the frustration of which was further heightened as he watched his colleagues try to push in their agendas.

Why Danny Trejo is appalled by Kim Kardashian's stance?

With her journey to cross the bar exams being relatable fodder for people around the globe, it has also become common knowledge that Kim Kardashian has been advocating for the fair rights of convicts and jail reform. Therefore, it did not come as a shock that the billionaire had raised the issue of the incarcerated firefighters' wages. The issue here, as highlighted by Danny Trejo, was the need to do it during such times. However, it was not the only fault in Kardashian's ask.

Trejo revealed that while the firefighters get paid a minimal wage for risking their lives, they are awarded other benefits, specifically an ease in their statement. As per the veteran actor, that is all that the likes of them care about. It is unclear if that stands true for every incarcerated firefighter currently working with a hose amidst the L.A. wildfire, but what is true is that no one is safe as the flames continue to rage.
