It’s a rare sight when fans get to see two high-profile celebrities under one roof. Watching Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck together was indeed one of those lifetime treasures. The duo took the mantle of playing foes as Superman and Batman in the DC Universe long before the reboot took place. At that time, these two never left the chance to astound people with their on-screen rivalry and offscreen friendship.

Well, most of the time, we saw glimpses of their brotherhood at promotional interviews and premieres. Remember the time when these two arrived twinning at the premiere of Batman v Superman?

Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck are true buddies on the red carpet 

Back in 2016, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck attended the premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in Mexico City. The duo captured the attention of paparazzi and fans sporting matching cream suits. The British actor who played Superman and the Oscar winner who played the Dark Knight looked stunning in the complimentary looks. Although they donned quite similar colors, their styles were completely different.

Cavill chose to wear a three-piece suit paired with a maroon-striped tie and pocket handkerchief. On the other hand, Affleck draped himself in a vest and went with a plain blue tie. The day after the release of their film, these two were again seen twining. Making an appearance at the New York premiere at Radio City Music Hall, they went black and white.

These pictures flooded social media with fans swooning over their buddies sticking beside one another on the red carpet. Sadly, fans will no more get these views at premieres as the 40-year-old has been benched from DCU. Meanwhile, this thing will certainly not affect their bond and, most importantly, their combined name.

We all know that the internet always comes up with new names to label the beautiful friendship between Cavill and Affleck. Talking about the same in an interview with Conan O’Brien, the Gone Girl star stated that he did not like the name Benry much. To this response, his costar came up with a new label: Cavfleck or Henjamin Cavfleck, to be precise.
