King Charles’ Was the Last Coronation? Prince William ‘Tipped’ to Ditch the Age-Old Tradition

Britain’s Crown Coronation has forever been vulnerable to rapidly changing life and times of the growing world. Needless to remind, how the present King himself had a bit of a problem running lines with the former monarch, Queen Elizabeth. The late Queen firmly stuck to the age-old tradition passed on through generations since the old and extinct. But King Charles wanted to handle things differently. However, this is nothing new, with every new generation having to face the same odds as their predecessors.

Speaking of which, even Prince William, the rule-abiding favorite Prince of Wales, has also got something similar brewing up.

As reported exclusively by Express, this Coronation of King Charles was supposedly the last coronation of the United Kingdom, suggested an expert. The royal experts are under the notion that the new-age monarchy cannot run lines along with the stone age rules. As experts say, King Charles has himself vouched for the trend of bending royal protocols as and when necessary that once used to binding for everyone.

Robert Morris, a professor at University College London, an esteemed university, chipped in the following matter. The professor said to Express that, “It seems very likely that William might prefer his father’s style of coronation,” Dr. Morris affirmed. Further adding to it, he said, “If that is, he would want a coronation at all”.

Is the coronation necessary in the world we’re living in?

The expert also brought it to our notice that Britain is the only royal household that still believes in a Coronation Ceremony. Hence, following King Charles, it would be all on Prince William and the concerned government whether to move ahead with the tradition or not. “Moreover, coronations are not even required by law,” said one of the experts.

Exploring King Charles’ way of handling the administration, the experts believe he has introduced some massive changes for the union. As he took over the steering wheel of the kingdom after Queen Elizabeth’s demise, there have been a lot of breaks from royal traditions and so on. Thus, they hope the future King-in-making proceeds in the same as he embarks on his monarchial journey later.
