King Charles to No Longer Raise a Toast to Prince Archie Over Prince Harry’s Delayed Attendance in UK
The coronation of King Charles undoubtedly welcomed new hopes of reconciliation between the House of Windsors and the Sussex Squad. Prince Harry and his confirmed attendance created quite a stir among the royal fandom, despite Meghan Markle choosing to opt out of it. Nonetheless, things seem to be a bit too uncertain at the moment. Swinging in a dilemma, the Duke of Sussex is still considering his decisions to manage between his father and son’s special day. And that might have ruffled some feathers with the King back at their royal base.
Although Prince Harry had plans to stay for the grand event, he is unlikely to stay post the ceremony to attend the family lunch together. In fact, his attendance at the event itself has come under a question mark over some disputes between the Firm. Reports also claim that he wishes to rush back to the United States to squeeze in time for his son, Prince Archie’s celebration, too.

Meanwhile, certain developments might have seemingly upset the King as sources reveal some change in plans. As reported by the Mail on Sunday, “The King considered a toast to Archie.” “However, with no member of the Sussex family now due at the lunch, it is highly unlikely he would do so in their absence,” it further added. The royal couriers have described the entire scenario as a “tug of war” between the two families.

As affirmed by the publication, the entire delay revolves around the Duke’s demand for recognition of his children in the coronation. The key issue, as highlighted by the Mail, is to publicize his children’s monarchical statuses as assigned to them a few weeks ago. The father of two is somewhat bent on offering his kids their royal rights in the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, King Charles had made it clear weeks ago that only the working members of the royal family would be allowed to appear in all the big and small roles in the coronation. As earlier reports had claimed, the Crown is very selective of who it wants to represent itself with the entire world watching it on the 6th of May. Amidst it all, it is still unclear which side the tides are going to fall.
What is your opinion about the same? Do you believe the Prince will have his demands manifested? Or shall he have to abide by the rules of the Palace? Let us know in the comments below.
