King Charles Is Fuming Over Prince Harry Allegedly Using His Kids as a Royal “bargaining chip”, Claims Royal Author

In the feud between families, children often become the link that holds things together. The case of the fractured royal family is no different. King Charles, who, as per reports, had once resolved to burn all existing bridges with his younger son and his family, now yearns to reunite with his grandchildren. However, even as the heart of the grandpa cries out, it is seemingly not ready to forgive and forget the pain caused by his son, Prince Harry.

A royal author recently hinted that King Charles, though wanting to welcome Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back into the fold, will not be taken in by Prince Harry’s alleged schemes.

It was first reported back in April by Page Six that King Charles "desperately" wants to "see the children" of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. This came following the King's cancer diagnosis, after which the 75-year-old felt that "life is just too short" and decided it was time to extend an olive branch to his estranged family. However, according to Tom Quinn's statement, as reported by The Mirror, King Charles "senses that access to the children is being used as a bargaining chip," which he finds "unforgivable."

King Charles has not met his youngest son’s children since June 2022. He has only seen Prince Archie a few times and Princess Lilibet just once. And with Prince Harry choosing not to bring his family to the UK, at least until he resolves his security concerns, the reunion of the children with their grandfather seems even more far from happening. This rift, which has kept Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet apart, has also instilled a big fear in Meghan Markle’s heart.

Following their exit from the royal fold, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also deprived their children of their royal life. This detachment from the royal family now allegedly worries the Duchess of Sussex. Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror in April that Markle fears her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, would "blame" her for depriving them of their prestigious royal life. However, despite this fear, Quinn shared that Markle is not ready to change her mind.

Many insiders have also weighed in on this speculation that Markle is unable to "forgive" the royal family for what they have allegedly put her through. However, Prince Harry has evidently made efforts to reconnect with his family, especially after King Charles and Kate Middleton’s health issues. Nonetheless, if Tom Quinn’s reports are to be believed, a royal reunion with the Sussexes is still a distant dream.
