King Charles Is Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Footsteps for a Noble Cause
When it comes to facing the public, the Royal family of the United Kingdom harbors both pioneers and disappointments. While Princess Diana was the epitome of public service, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have proudly carried forward her legacy. The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex have a proven track record of serving the underprivileged and the needy to the best of their abilities. Following this noble practice is now the Sovereign of Britain, King Charles, himself who has taken on a similar initiative.
Following his own cancer battle, King Charles has rolled up his sleeves to empathize those who had been suffering from the same.

As the Monarch returns to his official duties for the first time since his discharge from the hospital, he has his routine scheduled for the service of his subjects. King Charles is all set for a visit to instill strength and endurance among cancer patients to beat the fatal disease. As sources revealed to The Sunday Telegraph, the 75-year-old Monarch is iron-willed to demonstrate ‘how people can go on living a full life during treatment, not just after it’.
He would also stress on the fact that cancer not only affects the patient but also those around him. Fighting the disease with all their might, driven by a strong motive to live, is the only medicine they have, implied the outlet. Empowering the patients, King Charles would follow a motto that says, ‘Cancer can be a scary word but it does not have to be a scary experience’. This is not the first time the King has raised awareness of the disease.
While the King may only be getting to it now, the seed of such humanitarian activities was planted years back by his former, divorced wife, Princess Diana.

Through their various charitable endeavors, including their own Archewell Foundation, which provides emotional and financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, the couple has done it all.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have rigorously used their platform to raise awareness to inspire a new generation to make a difference in the lives of others.
