King Charles Once Channeled a Hopeful Father When Inquired About Prince Harry
The royally estranged couple moved into their Californian home in 2020. While the Hollywood move came at the cost of their Royal feud, Prince Harry’s Spare revealed details that caused a further rift this year. The first time the son met his father, King Charles, was at the coronation after the book release. While the Duke of Sussex attended the event, the Duchess, Meghan Markle, skipped it along with her son Archie. The Suits actress justified it with the clash of Archie’s birthday.
After all the commotion of emotions, King Charles seemed to put aside all the hard feelings. In one candid encounter with a supporter, King Charles answered their question with a reply full of hope.

When the novel was first published in January of this year, everybody in the UK and America was interested in what the reactions of the royals mentioned in it would be. And just a month after the book’s release in January, King Charles attended the 125th anniversary of the University of East London’s Stratford. Naturally, the then Prince of Wales, King Charles, greeted everybody present after the celebrations.
The Express reported how one student shook the King’s hand and asked him if he could bring back the Duke of Sussex. Failing to hear the question at the first attempt, the King asked again, “Who?” The student reiterated, asking if he could bring the Prince back. King Charles replied, “It would be nice.” This four worded reply established the deep longing bond that the father wanted to share with his son. Apart from the public gathering at the coronation, the son had not met his father personally after the release of his memoir.
This isn’t the only time King Charles has extended an invitation to his son.

Just days after the royal biographer revealed King Charles’ interest in having the Prince and his son, Archie, over for his 75th birthday, another close source spilled the beans about their potential “peace talks.” The Duke of Sussex and the King orchestrated perfectly timed London hauls after September 16. This would be right after the Prince would get done with his Invictus Games in Germany and the King’s gap before the French visit.
This coincidence happened due to King Charles postponing his French visit, which was due to happen around that time. This meant that the father and son duo could privately have a conversation to reach common ground. It could mean more involvement on the King’s birthday in November. We never know.
