Kim Kardashian’s ‘The Kardashians’ Wins Award for Best Docu-Reality Show From MTV, Much to Fans Disappointment
The revival of one of the longest-running reality shows on TV has bagged an award. From being a socialite to building up her own beauty empire, Kim Kardashian and her clan have achieved it all. The single mother of four began has come a long from getting famous over a leaked clip to becoming a billionaire today. Despite occasional criticism for her actions, she continues to stay trending at the age of 42. But admittedly, the credit goes to the entire Kardashian clan for being a source of entertainment for the masses for years.
With the MTV Awards landing on us this year, we saw a lot of new as well as existing winners. Beating competition, The Kardashians have come out victorious winning an award for Best Docu-Reality Series winner. If the name rings a bill, it is a revived version of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which successfully ran between 2007-2021. The reality show had come to a sad ending for the family and fans alike, but popular demand brought it back. Until, Hulu brought forth The Kardashians.

The show revolves around the Kardashian family as the camera follows them in their everyday life. From luxurious trips, parties, and shoots to catfights and emotional moments between the family members, the show has been a guilty-pleasure watch for reality show lovers.
While there seems to be no end to fans keeping up with the Kardashians, people are not too thrilled about it getting an award.

MTV had several reality shows under its Best Docu-Reality Series category. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules, ‘Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition, etc., were some of the contenders along with The Kardashians. And the Hulu show winning the award left fans baffled.
Fans are clearly upset over the outcome and are calling out MTV for their choice. Although there are those upset over none of the family members turning up to accept the award.
The series certainly did not become a hit without royal viewers who are congratulating the family over the outcome.

We can expect insight into the Kardashian- Jenner clan in season 3 of the show. It is expected to have even more drama and spicy content. Life after her divorce from Kanye West is different for the SKIMS owner as she concentrates on her career while Kourtney Kardashian continues her new married life with Travis Barker. The next season of The Kardashians will premiere on May 25 on Hulu with weekly episodes.
