Every new season brings a new drop and to maximize its selling point, Kim brings in some of the biggest stars of the industry. Now, in a surprising wake of futuristic alliances, Kim Kardashian took to her Instagram story to repost Hailey Bieber’s picture from a Rhode campaign wearing SKIMS’ fuzzy knit set. 

The story mentioned Bieber donning the “fuzzy knit scoop bralette” with a “fuzzy knit tie side thong”. The picture in question is from the December rollout thread of Rhode’s calendar girls featuring their “year-round cleanser for bouncy, soft, hydrated skin”. Although previously Kardashian has tapped many innovative joint ventures to promote her business, this impromptu synergy between SKIMS and Rhode is one of the never-seen-before kind of partnership alliance.

While SKIMS’s unexpected crossover with Rhode might not have been on anyone’s bingo card until now, this is not the only mind-boggling partnership that the reality star has patted in recent times.

When it comes to new-age collaborations, Kim Kardashian is the personality to take notes on. Recently, she scored twice the pointers for the Cupid season when she brought in Lana Del Ray for Valentine’s campaign, highlighting a major star-struck moment. Earlier in 2023, when SKIMS decided to step out of women’s closet to the men’s, it featured some of the eminent athletes in their respective fields, including Nick Bosa, Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, and Neymar Jr.

Furthermore, it was this “Everybody is Wearing SKIMS” campaign that eventually led to the iconic NBA partnership, making SKIMS the official underwear partner for the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball. While the chapters of 2024 have only begun and that too with an eye-glittering crossover between SKIMS and Rhode, here is hoping that many more such collaborations will make their way this year, dropping several jaws in the midst.
