The trauma, which the reality star later quoted as “one of the most life-changing experiences,” definitely left many wondering about what happened on that night in Paris.

What exactly happened with Kim Kardashian in Paris in 2016?

The tragic incident dates back to 2016, when Kim Kardashian visited France for Paris Fashion Week. For her stay during the event, she had rented an apartment and was alone when a gang of masked and armed men broke into her apartment. They tied her up, held her on gunpoint, and robbed her of jewelry worth $10 million and an engagement diamond ring that cost $4 million, given to her by her now ex-husband, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West

The main criminal accused in the incident, named Aomar Aït Khedache, has said that they got the tip from the internet. As per his statement, they did not know who Kardashian was. All they learned was that a big American celebrity was coming to France and her original jewels would be on full display. He said previously, “The jewels were shown on the Internet, and she didn’t wear fakes.” Clearly, they underestimated the situation and failed to see how much media attention it would attract. Almost a decade has passed since then, and now it looks like Kardashian will finally be rewarded for her patience in waiting for justice.
