The 42-year-old mother of four commands social and internet media by the neck with her massive fan following. Additionally, the media sensation is now flaunting her acting prowess and range as the trailer to her latest big-screen outing has just been released.

Moreover, Kim Kardashian will be playing an influencer and socialite in the movie too. However, in the reel life, she is just not on the right side of life.

American Horror Story has long showcased dark, gory, and gripping themes that hold its audience by the breath. Delicate marks the 12th entry into the franchise of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s horror creation. Kim Kardashian’s outing will be based on the novel by Danielle Valentine called Delicate Condition. The show will have Kardashian play the role of a prominent socialite and influencer who is associated with a shadowy cult. Additionally, her character is meant to be a deceptive, cunning, and manipulative individual, which will have her showcase her acting abilities.

The movie will also star Cara Delevingne and Emma Roberts in supporting and leading roles, respectively. Interestingly, Kardashian is to have certain steamy scenes with Delevingne which will highlight the depth of their characters. Although the premise of the movie left fans wondering about the outcome, it retains its previous jump factor. Moreover, the story promises to dwell on the lines of scary horror to being mind-bending and thrilling. Furthermore, the outing will also see Kardashian reprise her on-screen presence after lending her voice in 2021’s PAW: Patrol.

American Horror Story: Delicate is a feminist’s take on the 1960s best-selling horror novel, Rosemary’s Baby. Kardashian’s presence will also highlight the woman-centric approach of AHS.

Movie set to be a modern and female-led take on Rosemary’s Baby

Roman Polanski adapted Ira Levin’s 1967 novel, Rosemary’s Baby, into a movie a year later. Both the novel and the movie had the same take on horror and cult behavior. However, the upcoming take by Kim Kardashian in American Horror Story: Delicate, will have certain deviations from the original to make it more female-centric. Moreover, Delicate will feature a strong and independent woman as the lead character, instead of Rosemary, who was subject to suppression by the patriarchal society.

The characters who take on the malevolent side are all woman-led. Delicate will also bring to the fore the dark side of the entertainment industry. It will also address the misogyny and differentiation that women face. However, in stark contrast, it will highlight assertive and powerful women in the lead, as well. However, at its heart, Delicate still remains a horror and thrilling continuation of the American Horror Story saga and will link back to previous outings.
