Not only do these events bring relief to those in need but also provide for some of the craziest chance encounters between celebrities.

Just a few days ago, in perhaps the greatest rendition of Marvel’s Multiverse of Madness in real life, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Meghan Markle‘s mother were spotted at the same charity event. And this week too features another unlikely Kardashian encounter with Eva Longoria.

While Kim Kardashian and her family have redefined what reality TV success actually means, Eva Longoria with her performance in the ABC show with a reality-show-esque name, Desperate Housewives, has gained timeless acclaim. And while both are known headline makers, there haven’t been many or any meetings between them. This is why them running into each other at This Is About Humanity charity event, made everyone turn their heads.

The two ladies have proven time and again by using their voices to help those in need that they’ll be among the first to show up at a charity event. But while their intentions were alike, their outfits were an entirely different story.

On one hand, Longoria opted for a yellow dress and the daintiest of jewelry. On the other hand, Kim Kardashian walked in a black skin-tight dress with heavy chains around her neck. Their outfits, however, did not stand in the way of their long-time friendship as they posed together.

While the origin of their friendship is not widely known, Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria have been friends since the reality star’s limited-edition marriage with Kris Humphries. In her appearance at What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2019, the actress talked about Kardashian’s infamous wedding. Longoria said she drank a lot at the wedding.

Longoria may have chosen the drink-and-tell route to steer clear of any drama, but Kim Kardashian had once upon a time taken a contrasting approach. Not long after her divorce from Humphries, tabloids sprung around allegations about the billionaire dating Longoria’s ex Eduardo Cruz. And the actress took to her Twitter to shut down the rumor treadmill while referring to Eva Longoria as her ‘close friend’. While the two may not be thick as thieves in the public eye, Kardashian and Longoria share a very rich past.
