Although the universe is onto new beginnings, the Marvel world occasionally takes the fans on a time capsule through their projects to never lead them astray from its savior roots. Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently appeared at D23 Brasil and conversed with CinePOP. Upon being asked to jot down his favorite three Marvel Cinematic Universe moments so far, Feige thought on his feet by sending fans straight into the golden catalog of Avengers' history. The first Marvel recall he made was Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic response, “I am Iron Man,” to Thanos in Avengers: Endgame (2019) before serving the snap wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.

Feige chose another Marvel gem for his second pick sending fans right back into the United Nations conference in Vienna, Austria to Captain America: Civil War (2016)—the very first time Black Panther aka T’Challa was revealed on screen in the square off with Captain. Lastly, Feige chose another Endgame moment to seal the barrel of Marvel memories with a flashback of the portal sequence when the Avengers arrived from the multiverse to lend a hand to the Captain in the biggest showdown yet.

After an Avengers flashback, Kevin Feige teases Deadpool and Wolverine’s comeback

Deadpool has forever been on a mission to fit himself into the ranks of Avengers. Although he may not have succeeded, at least Deadpool & Wolverine matched with a victory lap like the Avengers. While that did not clarify whether their future was guaranteed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige assured it has at the recent Disney D23 Convention in Brazil. In an interview with Omlete, Feige admitted their plans with Deadpool and Wolverine “will always be the same.”

“We’re always wondering where we can fit them in, and how quickly,” Feige teased (via Google Translate). Though Ryan Reynolds played coy just days before about his potential appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars, Feige’s added layer only worked in favor of the fans who were somehow convinced about an Avengers-level retreat. And now with a quick detour to the best of Avengers, there are all the more reasons to self-persuade that the Marvel Studios is shaping up quite a cinematic future for its fans.
