The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, might have somewhat managed to be in the good books of the King and the former Queen. But the one royal member she could never run lines with is her brother-in-law Prince William of Wales. Speculations flamed by comments if royal experts have it that the future King was against having Markle as a royal amongst them. Rest is history. Prince Harry‘s back-to-back revelations in his bestseller about the fierce fights that broke out between the brothers have substantiated the claims. 

In another instance, once again from the Duke’s armory of Bombshell reveals a direct face-off between the Duchess and the future King. Keeping aside all the brawls that erupted between the Duke and the Prince, this feud of Markle with the heir stands out as the most intense confrontation between the royals. 

Meghan Markle ordered Prince William to stay out of her ways 

In one of his extracts, Prince Harry reveals Prince William once ruled out the abrasive behavior of Meghan Markle. “Well, it’s rude Meghan,” said the brother-in-law. “These things are not done here,” he further added, stating how certain things are unacceptable in the place. 

However, as the back-and-forth spiraled, Prince William happened to point his finger at the Duchess. Humiliated by this gesture, Markle, as per Prince Harry’s Spare extract, brazenly replied, “Keep your finger out of my face”. The Duchess is said to have disliked the remarks about her not being close enough to indulge in jokes and fun with the other royals. 

Why did Prince William point his finger at Markle?

At the core of the intense confrontation stands the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who had then just given birth to her youngest, Prince Louis. In a run-up to the Sussex wedding, Markle had apparently referred to the Queen in waiting as the baby brain after her third delivery. 

Hence, the Prince’s outrage ended up demeaning the Duchess. In later parts, Prince Harry also revealed how Middleton even demanded an apology from Markle. The Princess fumed in anger while gripping to the sofa so tight that her “fingers were white“.
