Particularly Kate Middleton, whose entire persona changed after the bombshell interview was made public.

Body language specialist Judi James said to Mirror in 2021 that Middleton appeared “unrecognizable” and had “stopped smiling.”

Following the explosive interview, the media outlets went into overdrive, and all eyes were on Kate Middleton. Many people were surprised when the Duchess attended a public engagement just days following the interview. In response, Judi James stated that the Duchess of Wales appeared to have lost her charm and appeared “unusually full.”

In the same interview, the Duchess disclosed another unexpected revelation about her life that occurred before she married the prince, and it involved the queen.

Meghan Markle overlooked an important royal protocol

Amid royal formality and engagements, she forgot she had to courtesy the queen. In the Oprah interview, she said that she first encountered the queen at the Royal Lodge, where Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew live. She was astonished to learn that the Queen was on her way to the residence after finishing her church service commitments in Windsor.

This created an interesting situation for the prince and his then-girlfriend. He questioned Markle, “Do you know how to curtsey?”. Markle was perplexed as she thought this used to happen only outside as part of the fanfare. And did not believe it happened inside as well. To which the Duke replied, “It’s the Queen.” Further insisting that everyone is required to show courtesy to the queen.
