The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has forever been the epitome of what the ideal royal princess would be like. Being the centerpiece of the House of Windsor, the future Queen-in-waiting has already got a lot on her plate. Nonetheless, it is no doubt that the Princess renders all her duties and responsibilities in the service of the Monarchy better than anyone.

Manifesting the same, the wife of Prince William stunned in a Barbiecore pink to grace the London flower event. Nonetheless, prior to this, she was on yet another royal mission which we did not realize carried a special significance. As the royal website reported, as well as the official Twitter accounts of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the royals celebrated World Bee Day in their own unique way. At the center of the celebration was Princess Kate Middleton. She made all her efforts to share some sweet facts about the royals’ relationship with the bees and honey. And to everyone’s surprise, the relationship dates back to the former monarch, Queen Elizabeth.

As reported by the royal website, the late Queen was too fond of the honey culture at Buckingham. The Queen was rather proud of the quality of the product. In fact, being too fond of the same, she even gifted a jar of honey to Pope Francis as an official present. The exchange took place when the former Queen met the Pope at their first meeting in 2014. The Princess was very aware of the Queen’s fondness for honey.

She did her best to make the special day an opportunity for everyone to learn and acknowledge more about something as significant as honey and bees.
