In his latest interview with USA Today, Matarazzo opened up about what things he wishes to see in the final season. The actor revealed that he has not received any details about the shooting time. Still, he is excited to meet his costars and get back to the Stranger Things world for the last time. As for his character Dustin, he stated he wants him to get a reality check on his profound ego.

It is undeniable that Dustin is one of the smartest kids and clearly has a passion for science and technology. However, this thing also makes him extremely proud of his knowledge and achievement. According to the 20-year-old, his character knows that he is one of the essential keys to defeating Vecna.
Or one can say that he has great knowledge of Dungeon and Dragons that would help them a lot in the impending war. “I’d like to see him be knocked down a few pegs,” Matarazzo told USA Today. In the meantime, Gaten has also expressed his thoughts about leaving this fan-favorite story behind.

Making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor opened up about how everyone is excited about the show coming to an end. “There’s like a deep fear that’s been like – not only has it been amazing but it’s been like pretty great job security,” he added.
