Sydney Sweeney, since the beginning of the year, has set the stones in place for her to become the brightest star at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.

It has been a series of red carpets for Sweeney, who just before landing foot in France to celebrate the beauty of all that is the Cannes Film Festival went for sheer black in New York. But all that serving looks and no relaxing is bound to get the Euphoria star a little dull. And to make sure that doesn’t happen, the actress is unwinding on a yacht with her ‘gang.’

As the Cannes Film Festival began on the 16th of May, renowned celebrities from around the world are arriving in France to experience the age-old movie festival. And unanimously accepted as one of the brightest upcoming stars of Hollywood, Sydney Sweeney was bound to be there. However, before she stuns the world with yet another glamorous red carpet look, the actress took time to relax on a yacht with some of her friends.

The 25-year-old actress seemed on top of the world as she danced in the middle of the sea with Melissa Hernandez, GuyCory Holmes, Glen Coco Oropeza, Molly Dickson, Jennifer Miller, and Yotam Shwartz.

Sweeney has made sure that her glam team also gets the much-needed rest they deserve before the big day. And looks like it worked like a charm.

Sweeney squashes breakup rumors with her fiance at Cannes

If there is one thing to take from celebrities and their red carpet looks apart from style, inspiration is symbolism. The history of fashion statements is well acquainted with black dresses and their quantum impact. However, Sweeney has given an ever-so-soft twist to the iconic black revenge dresses as she stepped out in a silky white dress as she stepped out of her hotel in Cannes.

Her accessories for the night included diamond earrings, her shining engagement ring, and her fiance. This is the first high-profile appearance that she and Jonathan Davino have made since the Glen Powell dating rumors. While she quashed the rumors with her appearance, fans aren’t a fan of the dress she wore.
