If the past years have hummed along to the tune of early 2000s nostalgia, then 2024, with its biographies of Britney Spears and The Beatles, hits the high note of cultural déjà vu. While the former is still hunting for its perfect face, the latter has to find four actors to fit the shoe as Sam Mendes plans to put forth four films, each with a unique perspective. And it seems Joesph Quinn has fit the bill as the lead guitarist George Morrison.

It was reported by the Insneider that the Stranger Things' actor who has been headlining major blockbusters to be such as Gladiator II is being eyed, very intensely, for the role of the lead guitarist, a story that was earlier broken by The Sun. While Quinn is still an emerging actor, for anyone who has watched the tragic ending of Netflix's million-dollar sci-fi, this comes as no surprise.

Quinn had played the titular character of Eddie Munson, and very splendidly at that. His character, despite being limited to one season, has fans still very tightly holding to hopes that he will make a comeback in the final season of the Duffer Brothers series.

While the rumors about Quinn playing Morrison are deafening, Mendes seems to have narrowed down his choices for the other band members as well.

The idea of the acclaimed Sam Mendes working on not one but four movies, each with the point of view of different band members of the church of music that were The Beatles had audiences both of music and cinema on all fours. But with no time line and the extraneous pressure of doing things right, that the idea would bear fruit so early was out of question. Fortunately, with fans insisting on certain actors and Mendes' supposed nod, Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, and Barry Keoghan.

The actors seem to be just the right ingredients for the broth that Sam Mendes is currently cooking up, as they happen to be the leading actors of the generation. Moreover, all four of the alleged Beatles have won critical acclaim through several projects.
