And slowly, one of the best WWE wrestlers in the world also championed the quips of the acting industry, even landing himself a superhero role. Yes! We are certainly talking about his titular character in HBO Max’s Peacemaker. However, it seems like his wish resides with something else.

The Peacemaker alum apparently revealed his wish to play Shazam back in 2022. Cena talked about it to Josh Hurwitz in an interview on his Happy Sad Confused Podcast. Notably, Zachary Levi bagged the role back in 2019 and also reprised the role in the 2023 sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Meanwhile, Cena’s series still continues to be a hit amongst the American fandom.

The strange thing now is, not only the former rapper cum wrestler but even fans think he would make a great Shazam.
