The first Sunday of November is fast approaching, which brings an extra hour for most to recharge through sleep. Especially since their sleep on weekdays is often hijacked by the entertaining late-night shows. Talking about late-night talk shows without mentioning Jimmy Fallon is like discussing basketball without mentioning Michael Jordan. In the latest episode, the beloved talk show host lightheartedly commented on the American practice of turning their clocks forward and back by an hour to observe daylight saving time as the seasons change.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is in full swing following the conclusion of the writer’s strikes. Playfully teasing the daylight saving tradition, Jimmy Fallon recently featured a side-splitting segment on his show that will definitely make your day!

In the newest episode of the late-night talk show, Tariq Trotter, well-known as the rapper Black Thought, made a pit stop and joined hands with Jimmy Fallon to create a funny rap on ‘Day Light Saving.’ Both Fallon and Trotter had a playful rap banter that had the audience in stitches. With the opening line “spring forward, fall back,” the rap then went on, throwing in all sorts of random stuff, making it absolutely hilarious.

As hilarious as it was, it was not Tariq’s first time on The Tonight Show. The rapper has been quite a familiar face on the show and never fails to entertain the audience. So much so that as per fans, Fallon and Tariq are the best duo ever, always rocking the night. However, the Grammy-winning rapper failed to make it onto Jimmy Fallon’s thank-you card list.

The daylight saving approach has been very helpful for people to make the most of the natural sunlight, but this biannual changing of the clocks has also been frustrating to many people. Upsetting sleep patterns with a jet lag-like feeling is just one of the many worries in this approach. However, Jimmy Fallon has the aid of his smart devices, which are smart enough to alter their time on their own. A day after showing support for Stranger Things, Fallon wrote a thank-you card to his smart devices on his show, while criticizing his microwave.

Thank you, smart devices, for automatically setting my clocks back”, added the 49-year-old while penning his letter. His microwave, lacking the smart features of his other devices, received a diss from the host, “how dumb my microwave is”. While Jimmy Fallon has figured out his way to make it through the daylight saving puzzle, his rap’s random references will remain a puzzle for his fans.
