Jessica Alba and Sydney Sweeney crossed paths on Thursday night at the launch event of RH’s latest retail experience–RH Newport, The Gallery at Fashion Island—in Newport Beach, California. Alba shared a carousel of pictures on her Instagram handle with the caption, “The new RH store - no notes. 10/10.” Among the pictures shared by The Fantastic Four alum, Alba struck a pose with Sweeney in a few of them, leaving fans baffled by their beauty streak.

Alba donned a satin brown corset by Statnaia Corsets, paired with a mid-length skirt of a darker shade by Nour Hammer Paris, with an Amiri blazer to complete the look. Meanwhile, Sweeney put a twist on corporate Pinterest looks with a set of culotte-style mini shorts, a fitted button-up waistcoat, and a blazer—all from the same shiny gray fabric. Some thought Sweeney was about to lose her ‘It’ girl crown to a newcomer, but she has proved she is untouchable in ‘It’ fashion.

Jessica Alba and Sydney Sweeney are poster girls of Tinseltown, though, it has been a while the former graced the screen. Despite their fame, they have been subjected to relentless childhood trauma. Alba shared with The Mirror in 2018 that growing up she endured older men hitting on her and was unfairly blamed for it. She also faced bullying from peers and even a school administrator, which ultimately led to her struggle with an eating disorder.

In various interviews, Sweeney has shared she was tormented throughout her childhood, which took a toll on her self-esteem and mental health. Not only her appearance, her weight, and aesthetic qualities were also questioned.
