Jennifer Garner Picks Her Favourite Nickname for ‘Friends’ Actor Jennifer Aniston
In the glitzy world of Hollywood, where friendships can be fleeting, there are some bonds that defy the test of time. One such enduring friendship is that of two fan-favorite actresses, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Aniston. Beyond their shared first names, these talented women have forged a deep and unbreakable bond over the years. Having first met on the set of Friends, the two have certainly developed a bond that extends beyond professional life.
Recently appearing on the SmartLess podcast, the Alias actress apparently shed light on her lifetime achievements. And while Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett were on their usual hilarious roll, Garner, the “most delicious person,” talks at a stretch about her journey in Hollywood and everything in between. The first question that pops up her way is if Arnet can call her Jen.

When Garner nodded in agreement, the next question Jason Bateman precisely shot was, “Has anybody called you Jenny?” To which Garner responds a few “random” people in her life. Bateman then recalls how adorably she calls her longtime friend, Jennifer Aniston, Jenny, sometimes. Garner then reflects that she likes the nickname, ‘Jenny’ for the 54-year-old American actress “in a weird way,” but Garner herself “didn’t grow up as a Jenny.”
Garner quipped that Aniston would agree with her why they didn’t get names like “Savannah or Ireland,” and the podcast erupted in a loud guffaw. Now, if you are wondering about tits and bits of their friendship, we have got you covered.

From walking on Oscar’s red carpet together to extending a warm welcome when Aniston first joined Instagram, their friendship perhaps knows no bounds. Yes! Back in 2019, Garner apparently reenacted an entire scene from Aniston’s fan-favorite TV series, Friends, using the infamous Legos. The post then went on to become Aniston’s first-ever Instagram story.
Furthermore, when Garner had a heartbreaking split from her decade-old beau, Ben Affleck, Aniston was right there for her sending a bottle of wine and flowers and stating she will be there for her through thick and thin. The two would also find time for each other amidst their busy schedules and go on casual brunches to vacations; prioritizing nurturing their friendship beyond the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry.
