Then, the return of past characters, storylines, and more details were under wraps. However, while speaking at the SCAD TV Fest in Atlanta after receiving the honor of the Variety Showrunners Award, Charlotte Stoudt went all out with spoilers, hinting at least a 12-episodic run for the next installment.
Stoudt furthermore also teased the possibility of Jon Hamm’s likely comeback for the season. To continue the fanning of the flames, she even dropped cues about who could fill in the shoes of Jennifer Aniston’s character Alex Levy. As per her takeaways, Nicole Beharie’s character could definitely do the magic since she thinks “Chris is a huge star”. While she did refrain from letting more slip, she did, however, mention a spoiler about Christina Hunter, saying she thinks “everyone sees her as the next Alex”.
That the upcoming season is power-packed is a necessity given the standards set by the previous season of the show.
