After the recent screening of the final episode of The Morning Show season 3, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon promised to work their “a**es off” for the next one in the Q&A round. Then, the return of past characters, storylines, and more details were under wraps. However, while speaking at the SCAD TV Fest in Atlanta after receiving the honor of the Variety Showrunners Award, Charlotte Stoudt went all out with spoilers, hinting at least a 12-episodic run for the next installment.

Stoudt furthermore also teased the possibility of Jon Hamm’s likely comeback for the season. To continue the fanning of the flames, she even dropped cues about who could fill in the shoes of Jennifer Aniston’s character Alex Levy. As per her takeaways, Nicole Beharie’s character could definitely do the magic since she thinks “Chris is a huge star”. While she did refrain from letting more slip, she did, however, mention a spoiler about Christina Hunter, saying she thinks “everyone sees her as the next Alex”.

Recap to The Morning Show season 3, it is a staggering tale of real-time inspirations fidgeting with the world of reel and real for fans worldwide. The 10-episodic season aired last fall on September 13th. Even for the recent Q&A round, Reese Witherspoon cued how the real-life problems and situations of the world have often catalyzed plotlines for the show like, say, the network going down and the insurrection.

In season 3, well, it was all about that- the network tumbling, a potential big-tech takeover, and the January 6th insurrection. The show orbits in conclusion with Aniston and Witherspoon’s characters trying to prevent the acquisition by Paul Marks, played by Jon Hamm. However, battleground philosophy conflicting with personal secrets often blows out full-on warfare. Hence, when the secrets of yesterday unfold in season 4, let’s hope Stoudt’s grandiose plans score the hit.
