Jennifer Aniston Shares a “grateful” ‘Friends’ Filled Post as She Turns 55
In Hollywood, birthdays normally involve extravagant parties, fabulous outfits, and a million social media posts. However, there is one star who seems to love celebrating her special day in privacy, away from the online world. That is none other than Jennifer Aniston. Despite living a private life, she likes to keep her fans and followers updated about her life, and on the same note, the Friends star took a nostalgic trip down memory lane for her 55th birthday.
In a post on her Instagram, Aniston shared a rather emotional clip of herself to celebrate her birthday. The video was filled with pictures and videos of the star right from the 90s. While she shared various snaps in the video which felt like a look at the life she had lived, fans could not help but notice that most of the pictures and clips were from her time as Rachel Green on the NBC sitcom, Friends. The actress even captioned the post, “Grateful.”

Her caption did not stop there. Aniston even added a poem by Stanley Kunitz called ‘The Layers’. The poem talks about how every single person on the planet goes through various “transformations” throughout their lifetime to help them become the person that they were meant to be. Those changes are what the actress seems glad to have gone through.
While the 55-year-old gave her fans a rare glimpse into her life, her Friends filled post could not hold a candle to her birthday post from last year.

Just last year, Jennifer Aniston took to her social media to celebrate her birthday with her 45.6 million followers. While most people had expected the star to have posted herself or an outing with her loved ones, the actress shared a childhood picture of her along with her late parents. She admitted to her following that she was thinking about “these two humans that created” her on her special day.
The post came the year after Aniston’s father, whom she was rather close to, had unfortunately passed away. While it was the star’s first birthday without her parents, she seemed to find the perfect way to show the world that she was still just her parent’s daughter at heart.
