It showed Phoebe Buffay’s scene from Friends where the character walks into the Central Perk coffee house and wishes her buddies “Hey, Happy Christmas Eve Eve.” This moment took place in the second season of the show in episode nine, ‘The One with Phoebe’s Dad’.

This post comes after reports revealed the Emmy winner has been planning to celebrate Christmas with friends. After the sudden passing of Matthew Perry, they wanted to dedicate this year to him. While cherishing their memories with him, the actress had planned games and food just like their characters used to do in the series.

So Aniston’s choice of the episode as her wish was unsurprising, given its status as one of the most iconic Christmas episodes.

Monica and Rachel back at their apartment throw a Christmas party that takes a tropical twist when Ross breaks the radiator knob and Mr. Treeger can’t fix it until after the holiday. Though Pheobe did not get to meet her dad, the secret to this episode’s success was its top-notch plot, life realizations, and coming to terms with it.
