For decades, Jennifer Aniston has been considered one of Hollywood’s favorites. From sitcoms to blockbuster films, she has tried her hand at everything. While she might be one of the most beloved actresses, she once encountered a paranormal incident shortly after her father’s passing in 2022. Although it was more heartwarming than scary, it for sure left her with her blood running cold.

In her childhood, the Just Go With It star had not been particularly close to her former actor father. However, all of that changed with one small moment that she recognized as a sign from beyond the grave.

Back in August, less than a year after Jennifer Aniston’s father, John Aniston, had passed away, the actress came forward with a story of her own. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, she revealed that the Days of Our Lives star had sent her a sign that he was okay. During his funeral back in 2022, the 54-year-old had left a crystal in his pocket. Shortly after the funeral, she noticed that a piece of it had chipped off and stayed with her.

While most people would choose to run the other way if faced with a strangely spiritual encounter, Aniston chose to embrace it. She even said that it made her feel “closer” to him than when he was alive. Although their relationship seems to have grown stronger after he crossed over, it was not always like that. In fact, at one point, it was so hard for the father and daughter to have a proper conversation.

Although they were both stars in their own rights, John Aniston was not too pleased about his daughter’s foray into films and television.

Way back when Jennifer Aniston was just a child, her father, John Aniston, was the superstar of their household. However, when she was just nine years old, her whole world fell apart after her parents split up. Although her bond with her father was not the best, her becoming an actress changed that. While he was initially on the fence about the whole thing, he eventually came around.

While her father’s new relationship with his then-co-star, Sherry Rooney, took over her life, the star had to navigate life with her extremely critical mother, Nancy Dow. She has even been extremely vocal about the issues she faced growing up. Thankfully, the father and daughter eventually managed to fix their relationship. At least to a point where they could be civil and be around each other.
