Jennifer Aniston recently took to her Instagram story to share a video originally posted by Jamie Luciana Currie. In this video, a groundhog is seen bathing while giving the camera the cutest side-eye. The semi-aquatic creature appeared to have indulged in a full weekend of self-care, with suds slathered all over its body. Through this, Aniston aimed to lift the spirits of her fans and captioned her post saying, “READY FOR THE WEEKEND”. Last month, the Murder Mystery actress raised her voice for animal cruelty as well.
Aniston shared a story in support of A Purposeful Rescue, a non-profit organization. The center that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters in Los Angeles was dealing with cramped quarters with 500 dogs. Aniston nudged the LA Animal Services and also urged her followers to adopt the suffering pets. However, not many people know that a significant part of her efforts is fueled by her good friend and talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.
During an interview, following the death of her adopted dog, Dolly Parton, Aniston shared how DeGeneres inspires her to rescue more animals.

Jennifer Aniston sat for an interview with People in the year 2019. While sharing her love for animals with the publication, Aniston revealed how Ellen DeGeneres has a habit of bombarding her with “heartbreaking photographs of animals that need homes”. She also expressed her helplessness for not being able to pet every animal that needs a home. This is because she has to be sensitive to her dogs, Clyde and Sophie, and make sure they are comfortable in their space.
If she could she would happily get a “llama, a pig, an alpaca, sheep, goats” and all kinds of other animals. While the actress cannot keep all of them under her roof, she does everything in her power to support these feathered and furry companions all over the world. Not only because she cares about them, but also because she understands their importance in uplifting the spirits of human beings.
