Episode 6 of The Morning Show season 3 saw Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm in a passionate scene, a tad bit more explicit than expected from the show. Having worked together earlier, filming the scene wasn’t all that hard for the actors, as Aniston revealed in a recent interview with Variety, on which she appeared with co-star Reese Witherspoon. Apparently, when the Friends star was asked if she needed an “intimacy coordinator”, her response was, “what does this mean?”.

On being explained a little more, Aniston refused the offer as she found it “awkward enough” without the extra inputs. She gives the reason for it herself by pointing out being part of a pre-coordinator Hollywood. Aniston added, “We’re seasoned- we can figure this one out.” In the mentioned episode, Aniston’s Alex Levy is interviewing Hamm’s Paul Marks, where one thing led to another.

With season 3, fans are hooked to the show and Aniston has clear plans on how to keep them around for more.

Hence, when she was asked how The Morning Show is leading to discussions about “adult conversations”, she had quite a serious response. As the pair talked about the show and how it mirrors a lot of what is going on in the contemporary world, Aniston brought up the quickly diminishing attention span of the audience.

Furthermore, she disclosed that the aim is to “make people sit and digest and think”. Leaning on her liking for the 90s, she stressed the need to communicate “with one another”. This was not the first time Aniston advocated against the use of “phones” and “distractions”. However, it appears that the actor might still be living her ideal life in the peak 90s!
