After 36 years of the first grunt of Beetlejuice, Winona Ryder is again riding on the coattails of fantasy horror comedy with Tim Burton for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Joining hands with the queen of oddity Jenna Ortega, the pair is wrapping up the trip to horror land with a star-studded cast. However, with Ryder and Ortega helming the roles of a mother-daughter duo, fans have already been on their toes. Now with the first look from its teaser trailer, fans might have to re-check the pulses because the frenzy is hitting the skyline.

With the return of the cult classic, Ortega has the scope to revisit her deadpan vibes from Wednesday like she often does. But her collating with the seasoned star, Ryder, from the 1988 hit film, gives fans twice the probability to bow down to the mothers of horror land. Hence, as the first look snaps from the movie rolled out after the teaser trailer, the darkness of Wednesday and Lydia Deetz’s revamp came like a Netflix trope mashup from Wednesday and Stranger Things. In the pictures, both in their all-black avatar managed to tingle the nerves of suspense.

In the shared pictures, a snap of Ortega riding a bicycle clearly gave away the calm before the storm. As for Ryder, the last image was an entry point to the shrieks and screams that await the September 6 theatrical release. Leading the buzz of this star-struck revival is Michael Keaton reprising the ghoulish titular character along with Catherine O’Hara, portraying Delia Deetz.

Fans crown Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder as “mothers”

Following the release of the teaser trailer, fans have crowned both as “mothers” as Ortega and Ryder's duet dance here embodies everything that modern horror aficionados could desire.

Especially, considering how Ortega has naturally honed her skills in tandem with darker roles, Ryder’s ready expertise in the genre can only complement the two organically. For fans, this is a scope to revisit the queen of horror from the 80s along with the contemporary poster face of goth. Hence, the frenzy brewing on the online radar after the trailer release might imitate similarly at the box office this September, but for that, one has to wait for the course of time.
