Jaw-Dropping Disbelief: Kanye West’s YESUKE Concept Art Leaves Fans in Awe
North West’s pulling of her father Kanye West’s fashion archives in Japan is currently the talk of the town. However, Japan is also where the ‘Donda’ rapper was rumored to be working on his upcoming album. As per his producer Fya Man, this album will have a touch of classic Ye, with a little modification. Apart from that, his 2004 album ‘College Dropout’ also crossed a milestone of almost 2 billion streams. With so much happening for the 46-year-old actor, it is safe to say that 2023 is the year of Ye’s comeback. And marking that is this fanart, portraying him as a Japanese weapon bearer that stunned the netizens.
Sam Schwartz Creations is an Instagram page that creates art concepts for popular celebrities, including Lil Wayne, Drake, and Portuguese footballer Ronaldo. The page made a Yasuke concept art for West, who is also one of the regular features of the page. The page titled the art as “YESUKE” which can be a great name for his upcoming album as per Reddit users. This art featured Ye in the traditional samurai armor made of iron and leather. Yasuke is the first black samurai who is also the inspiration behind LeSean Thomas’ Netflix anime series.

This series starred LaKeith Stanfield, also the executive producer, which was released in the year 2021. The series received an average rating of 6.2 on IMDB and a whopping 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, netizens had a mixed reaction to the YeSuke combination, and some even trolled the ‘808s & Heartbreak’ singer in the comment section.
While a section of fans appreciated the concept, others didn’t even know what/who Yasuke was. However, there was mutual disapproval of the page’s attempt to combine Ye with the first Black samurai in their art.

West somehow ends up being on the radar of trollers for the most ridiculous reasons. Through no fault of his own, fans attacked the 24 Grammy Awards winner for the art concept. While some fans were sure that the concept was fake saying, “This s*it IS NOT real“, others questioned, “Why do people even give shit like this the time of day“. There was also some genuine appreciation for the concept apart from the trolls directed at Ye. Fans appreciated the post saying, “I personally don’t like the title on the cover, but these are fire either way“. However, there was a mutual dislike for the fonts in the first picture.
Fans flooded the comment section with remarks like “Would go hard without the font” and “L font W concept“. While there hasn’t been any confirmation on whether the post had to do anything with the upcoming album of Ye, his producer revealed that the rapper is engaged in an intense writing process. This revelation has further had the fans tapping their feet for the upcoming banger the rapper is going to bless their ears with.
