The Kelce brothers successfully completed their education at the University of Cincinnati recently, yet it was Travis Kelce's chaotic behavior onstage that captured everyone's attention, even overshadowing his long-awaited academic milestone. Kelce made headlines by chugging a beer can during the graduation ceremony, igniting a firestorm of debate. In response to the backlash, Jason Kelce defended his brother on X (formerly Twitter), reminding fans that it was just a light-hearted moment during their New Heights Live podcast.
While some were unaware of the ceremony's informal nature and mistakenly assumed Travis Kelce's actions were part of an official event, others were angry that Cincinnati allowed it to happen, regardless was real or not. Whether the tight end will address the controversy remains to be seen, as he has not been active on his X account since April 3rd. But it is worth noting that both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have not had much luck with beer chugging.

As Taylor Swift rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs at the 2024 Super Bowl, she got shown on the big screen with her friend Ashley Avignone. Spotting themselves, they decided to chug some beer in support of her man playing against the San Francisco 49ers. Some people found it fun and playful, but others did not take it so well, saying she was a bad role model for kids watching her at home.
This moment lined up with another controversy when Travis Kelce got visibly mad after being taken out of a play. He shocked everyone by shoving head coach Andy Reid, making him stumble. Even though he took his time to provide an explanation behind the incident and his behavior back then, this time around, he is staying quiet, except for what his brother says.
