According to a recent issue by Variety, Richard Jenkins has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO limited series DTF St. Louis with the abbreviation breaking down to 'Down To F---'. Jenkins will reportedly star alongside Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini in the seven-episode series, which explores a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise.

The show's official logline reveals that the love triangle takes a dark turn, leading to one of the characters ending up dead. Jenkins will play the role of Detective Donoghue Homer, adding depth to the series' intricate plot. The project previously counted on Pedro Pascal as well, but the Last of Us star is no longer attached to the project in any capacity. With the show now in pre-production, fans can expect a gripping and intense drama to unfold.

Nonetheless, when it comes to dark thrillers like these, Jason Bateman prevails as the most dominant character of them all.

The Emmy-winning star, Jason Bateman is set to executive produce the HBO limited series DTF St. Louis under his Aggregate Films banner. Among all his upcoming projects in 2025 and beyond, he will star in this series alongside David Harbour and Linda Cardellini. Bateman's production company, Aggregate Films, is also represented by additional executive producer Michael Costigan.

As an executive producer, the 56-year-old will work closely with showrunner Steven Conrad, who is also the writer and director of the series. Other executive producers include Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch for Escape Artists, as well as Molly Allen and Bruce Terris. MGM Television is also on board as an executive producer.
