The 21-year-old showed off his brand-new Room 77’s limited edition Nerv racing division tee. Given his current trip to Tokyo, Japan, the base of Nerv’s headquarters, the influence is obvious.

Since it was a limited edition exclusively curated by the apparel and clothing brand, we understand why Bongiovi would want to flex it. To complete his outfit, he paired the tee with a blue cap, perhaps associated with the anime. The print on the t-shirt read, “Originally responsible for the creation of Evangelions made to combat Angles but now responsible for winning championships.”

Room 77’s limited edition Neon Genesis Evangelion tee is apparently an inspiration from the Japanese mecha anime television series that translates to ‘New Century Gospel’ in Greek. Precisely so, Nerv is a Tokyo-based organization that keeps Angles from destroying the world.

They perhaps took the influence directly from biblical mythos with Angles as a reference to Adam’s fifteen children. The Room 77 tee explains how Nerv is now a catalyst to win championships (for their exclusive edition). Notably, the t-shirt follows the trend and is plain white in the front with Nerv printed on the top left corner, and entirely animated at the back, providing a classy gen-z look.
