Part of it owes to the fact that Jada would be deconstructing all the false narratives about her and her family in the tell-all book. And the rest of the buzz comes down to her series of revelations that left people hanging with their mouths open. After announcing her separation from Will Smith, Jada dropped another bombshell about Chris Rock.  

It has been over a year since the infamous Oscar incident between Will and Rock took place. However, the comedian found himself again in the middle of the couple’s situation, which got on his nerves.

Chris Rock’s response to the shocking claim of Jada Pinkett Smith

During a recent interview with People, Jada revealed that the American stand-up Comedian once asked her out. The 52-year-old shared how the Spiral actor believed one of the floating rumors of Jada and Will’s divorce, seeing it as an opportunity to request a date. However, upon receiving clarification on the false rumors, Rock “profusely” apologized to Jada. This revelation did not sit well with Rock. A close source exclusively told Daily Mail that the comedian would “love for her (Jada) to keep his name out of her damn mouth”.

The source shared that the executive producer of The Hughleys hates being in the “limelight” as he is a “relatively private person”. And because of Jada’s revelation, and her conversations around the Oscar fiasco, he again came to the forefront. The source also revealed that these statements are “frustrating” for Rock, who already moved on from the infamous Oscar incident. 

However, it is not just Rock who found Jada’s revelations jarring. A popular talk show host criticized the actress for her shocking statements as well. 

The View co-host did not buy into Jada’s revelations 

The relationship between Jada and Will is all over the news, once again, after the former revealed their silent separation seven years ago. A clip from her forthcoming NBC prime-time special with Hoda Kotb blew up the Internet, where Jada made this shocking revelation. Reacting to the interview, The View co-host Anna Navarro criticized Jada for using her marriage separation as a way to make money. 

The 51-year-old further hinted that Jada dropped this bombshell only to promote her upcoming book. Navarro found the timing of the revelation unsettling and said, “I find it unseemly”. She also pointed to Jada’s habit of making these jaw-dropping revelations every time she needs ratings for her show or to sell books. Additionally, she warned her audience to be aware of the Smith couple, who have been faking their happy marriage since 2016.
