John Salley is currently filming the highly anticipated Bad Boys 4 with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. So the professional basketball player sat down with DJ Vlad to talk about it. During the conversation, the host made a joke asking did Smith slap someone on the set like before. In his response, the 59-year-old said “no” and explained how he will disappear for 90 days when he receives a big check.

Moving forward, he talked about how the Oscar winner got out of his situation after slapping Chris Rock. He recalled that the actor contacted him after returning from his vacation, which was necessary for him to ponder on things. “Everything that happens it’s like the butterfly effect, everything is it ripples down to something else and it was him getting out of it,” he added.

According to him, the Aladdin star has grown after experiencing all these things like a butterfly coming out of a cacoon. He also praised Rock for handling things well and not making a big fuss as it already is. Following this controversy, the possibilities of Bad Boy 4 were bleak. However, it did see the light of day when Will Smith and Martin Lawrence announced the beginning of production.

People who have watched Bad Boys for Life might know that Mike offered Armando a chance at redemption. So it is possible the new film depicts Armando teaming up with his father and Marcus. It is important to note that these are just assumptions and the plot perhaps will be revealed by the creators in the future.
