As per Games Radar, Sydney Sweeney recently sat down with Total Film Magazine to talk about her upcoming flick. During the conversation, she shared her excitement about this movie starring strong female faces. The actress seemed quite eager to spill all the details when the time comes. She went gaga over her costars Dakota Johnson, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor remembering all the fun they had working together.
The 25-year-old badly wants to reunite with her female gang, who have embodied powerful female characters. “We had so much fun together. And I’m really excited that it’s just gonna be a powerhouse of badass females for the world to see,” she said. Moving forward, Sweeney also revealed how she has always wanted to get cast in a superhero movie. This dream will soon be fulfilled when the world watches her on the silver screen.

It is certainly a thing to feel proud of considering the Spidey Universe is bringing female-led movies for the first time. Especially since the American actress has a huge contribution to the new installment.

According to CBR, the Sharp Objects star would be playing Julia Carpenter in the forthcoming movie. The insiders have told them that she is the second incarnation of Spider-Woman after Dakota Johnson. For the unversed, the Fifty Shades star is taking the mantle of the eponymous clairvoyant who first appeared in the 1980’s Amazing Spider-Man #210. In addition to the females, the film also casts Adam Scott, Tahar Rahim, and Mike Epps.
With the filming having wrapped months ago, Madame Web is scheduled for a worldwide release in theaters in February 2024.
