“It’s just diminishing”- How Jennifer Aniston Called Out Marvel’s Effect on Hollywood Movies Back in 2019
Jennifer Aniston skyrocketed to fame after playing Rachel Green in the television sitcom Friends. The show made her one of the most-loved actresses around, back in the day. It was an era when the world was much simpler and people liked spending time with their buddies in coffee houses, not only on screen but in real life, too. Four years back, Jennifer Aniston sat down with Variety to promote her Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. During the conversation, the host asked her what brought her back into the television fold. In her response, the actress revealed part of the reason was Marvel movies which took the world by storm in recent years.
The Emmy winner also confessed she was surprised to see the type of content that the industry started making and was better than what they did. “And then you’re seeing what’s available out there and it’s just diminishing and diminishing in terms of, it’s big Marvel movies,” added the 54-year-old.

The 90s fashion icon continued, she has always been interested in living in a simpler and greener world. According to her, the quality of movie experience faced a decline in the past years and Hollywood should reform as soon as it can.

Though people find excitement and a feeling of chase in the blockbuster Marvel movies, her show Friends proves how people do not want the 90s era to let go.
