“It’s all enough”- Meghan Markle Once Shared a Life-Changing Thought About Rediscovering Herself
In the rollercoaster of life, the one thing that has stayed constant with the former American actress, Meghan Markle, is her tremendous amount of hardship and struggle. Having been raised by a single mother, the now Duchess had her head high in the sky and her roots grounded in the soil. Nonetheless, she always believed in consistency and diligently working towards a goal. And that is exactly what she did while chasing after a career in the film industry. In the course of the same, the California native was prone to daily life challenges that made her life nothing more than tolerable.
However, she had a handful of genuinely kind-hearted people at every turn of her life who helped her push through. At times when she could not muster the strength to believe in herself, she had those people who never stopped believing in her. All of this is sourced from an essay entitled, It’s All Enough, that Markle wrote herself way back in the nascent stage of her career. As reported by Darling Magazine, the former Suits star once narrated what a normal day for an aspiring actor seems like.

She started off by revealing how she had to crawl literally through the backseat of the car to get into it, as the first two had decided to be dysfunctional. Like Markle herself, her Ford Explorer Sport was also burning out. Further narrating about a day in her auditions, Markle revealed how “soul-sucking” and “unapologetically impossible” it felt. However, to her relief, she had this casting director who instilled a sense of contentment and confidence in her.
April Webster, who had been working with Markle for days, had clearly seen pushing it through. At a point where she couldn’t take it anymore, she stopped Markle mid-scene and said, “You need to know that you’re enough.”

The casting director saw through Meghan Markle. She saw the self-doubting Markle through the tanner and excessive blush. “Less Make-up more Meghan,” April Webster continued further. She reminded Markle that she was like a “shrinking violet” burdened with the shroud of insecurity. Having listened to it all, Markle realized that was the wake-up call she needed someone to give her.
Markle expressed how that one line from the casting director moved her to her core. She recalled holding back tears while Webster said that to her. Contemplating it further, she realized how these were the exact same lines she wanted to tell her younger self. “I want to make her proud. I want to remind her of her worth,” wrote Markle. The former star frequently used to pen such inspiring anecdotes of her life on her now-defunct website The Tig.
