Following that, the story was told over eighteen episodes of a documentary series, Welcome To Wrexham. After an incredible first season, the duo is returning for a sequel. Welcome to Wrexham made a comeback to the screens for the second time earlier this week. The second installment of the sports documentary series revolves around the club’s promotion to the football league after nearly two decades. After Wrexham’s latest fixture in the football league, fan Chelsea Humphries, 23, appeared in an interview with BBC where she recalled the surreal filming experience of season 2. Describing her feelings, Humphries spoke, “They film absolutely everything, home games, away games, everything… It’s absolutely surreal.”
She further revealed how the production handed out little cameras to home and away fans before humbly adding that she was hoping “to see if any of my snippets of the goals or the celebrations get in.” Apart from the fan interactions, the series will also feature some key moments of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, including the time they met King Charles.
Executive producer Humphrey Ker also shed some light on season 2 of the series.

Apart from Reynolds’ assuring the fans of an incredible season, producer Humphrey Ker also had a few things to say about season 2.
Not long ago, Humphrey Ker, who piqued McElhenney’s interest in the sport, made some interesting revelations to the BBC. The executive producer revealed that he was “excited to relive some of his best memories on the show.” Elsewhere, he added how Wrexham and its people were the true spirit of the show and even more important than the two owners.
