Sydney Sweeney and her It Girl persona have made her one of the most lovable icons in the Gen-Z fan base. Not only has she starred in critically acclaimed shows like Euphoria and Handmaid’s Tale, but the actress is also all set to make her own music video. In contrast to her being open about her career and ambitions, The White Lotus actress has been private about her romantic relationship with her fiancee Jonathan Davino. They started dating back in 2018, and have occasionally appeared on the red carpet together. 

Despite that, her upcoming project sparked dating rumors with Glen Powell. And the Armani Beauty face had this befitting reply. 

After all, it’s a rom-com!

During the filming of the romantic comedy Anyone But You, the two leads Sweeney and Powell sparked dating rumors. Fans were in a frenzy after photos from the photoshoot on set resurfaced online. They engaged with rumors until Sweeney put a rest to all of it in an interview with Good Weekend in June. But in a recent interview with Variety, Sweeney and director Will Gluck of Anyone But You dived in deeper about those rumor-ous times. 

The Everything Sucks actress remained calm during those times. Commenting about it, she said, “It’s a rom-com, that’s what people want!” Recalling the fun on set, she added, “He’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker.” Director Gluck revealed the Euphoria actor’s super ability to block out social media. Although she is pretty active on it, she knows where to draw the line. He said, “She didn’t emotionally internalize it.”

Putting all that in the past, the movie is all set to premiere on December 15. While the rumors seem to have died down, the actress is busy forging her way forward.

The laser focus and ability to shut out unnecessary banter definitely play in favor of the 25-year-old. And in an era where everything is wildly public, the actress has managed has priorities amazingly. Just recently, in an interview with Pop Sugar before the Samsung event in Seoul, the actress candidly confessed her future ambitions.

After a hectic run, the Euphoria actress is waiting to enjoy a long break in her LA home and work on her favorite hobby, fixing cars. She wants her 30-year-old self to be “proud” of herself. And not just that, but the actress wants to enjoy a cute amount of four dogs and four kids too.
