Ari Emanuel, chief executive of WME, broke his silence on Justin Baldoni’s firing, making a dismissive remark during a live recording of the Freakonomics podcast, set for release in March (via ENews).I mean, it is a f--ked up bad situation with Balogna...Baldoni, whatever his name is... is doing,” he said. However, he spoke highly of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, praising them asincredible people in Hollywood” who have built a strong reputation, adding, that they have no "bad mojo.”

Ari Emanuel is allegedly the WME executive who fired Justin Baldoni. On December 31, Justin Baldoni filed a $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times over its coverage of Blake Lively's lawsuit. Weeks later, he sued Lively and Ryan Reynolds for $400 million, accusing them of attempting to control the It Ends With Us narrative. Both parties denied the claims. Later in the show, Ari Emanuel expressed his support for Lively and Reynolds, praising their character. Despite this, Baldoni stood tall and maintained his stance.

On Thursday, their attorney, Michael Gottlieb, submitted a brief statement to Judge Lewis Liman, confirming their intention to seek dismissal of Baldoni’s complaint, as reported by Deadline.
