Over the years, we have seen him wear everything from the Superman’s suave gentleman’s cut and classic swept-over look to Geralt of Rivia’s untamed mane. Recently, he has brought back his iconic thick, curly hair, and now the Cavill stans are losing their minds all over again.

Henry Cavill was recently spotted at the airport hanging out with some of his fans. One fan, Instagram user bugloww, posted a picture of him with a caption in Chinese that translates to “So Superman is going to fly too!” In the picture, Cavill was seen showing off his new long curls. This, in particular, made fans wonder if the look was for a role or just a personal style moment. But here is the thing- Cavill is not filming anything at the moment.

Most of his projects are either in the pre or post-production stages. This includes the much-anticipated Highlander Reboot, Enola Holmes 3, In the Grey, The Rosie Project, Voltron, and more. Nevertheless, it is possible that he is letting his hair grow out for something special in the horizon, but who knows? One thing is for sure- fans on social media are absolutely swooning over the British heartthrob’s new look, whether it is for a role or not.

Fans have rushed to X to gush about Henry Cavill’s hair, while also trying to crack the mystery of what he is working on next.

One of the roles fans miss seeing Henry Cavill in the most is Superman. Even though there is a new Superman all ready to take over, people just cannot seem to shake off the memory of the Man of Steel. And now, with his new curls, and the airport fan's nod to Superman, fans have been somehow transported right back to his DC days, and they have not stopped reminiscing about it ever since.

There were also a lot of speculations on whether Cavill's look is for an upcoming project. "Is this his Highlander look?" a fan asked. 

Meanwhile, some fans were just completely infatuated over Henry Cavill and the return of his curls. 

Highlander Reboot director Chad Stahelski shared that Cavill will be playing a martial arts master who has been training for over 500 years in the movie. The director also mentioned that filming is set to start by Spring 2025. So, it makes sense if Cavill has started growing out his curls. That way, by the time spring rolls around, those locks will be the perfect length for that classic Highlander look.
