The creators, Ron Underwood, Brent Maddock, and S.S. Wilson, have expressed their wish to communicate an authentic feeling to the 90s. The creators have previously shared in a joint statement with Underwood and producer Nancy Roberts that, “Whatever we decide to pitch to Hollywood, it will not be a remake [of] the first movie with a new cast.” And it will also not be a version of their original script for Tremors 5. After its desert-based beginning, the movie has explored much in its other movies, in the same location. More action of monster hunting can be expected in the reboot in the fictional construct town.
