Recently, in the world of superheroes, a new character has emerged. While Madame Web will not be introducing a new character, she has never been brought to life by Marvel before. With both Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney stepping into the enigmatic roles, fans are abuzz with anticipation. Is Madame Web part of the MCU?

Earlier this year, it was announced that Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson were cast for Madame Web. While many may not have known about the character, Marvel fans had their interest piqued. Even though the characters share the same universe, there is no saying what could happen. However, with the film being Cassandra Web’s first foray into the superhero world, there is a strong possibility that the film will choose to keep the focus on her. Although, with strong links to the swinging superhero, Marvel fans might eventually get the crossover that they were hoping for. Thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was confirmed that they all were in the same multiverse, which means it is a crossover just waiting to happen. However, that may end up being quite a while away.

With the SAG-AFTRA strike over, the anticipation for various films has reached an all-time high. And now, with the trailer making its way online, it is time for the Save the Dates to be put into place.

When will Madame Web be released?

Over the last few months, Sony’s Madame Web has gone through various pushbacks. Now, with the halting Hollywood strike finally settled, the studio seems to have chosen a relatively close release date. However, it was initially scheduled for October 2023, which has now passed. After that, it ended up receiving quite a push and left fans praying they would not have to wait till sometime in August 2024 to watch the film. Thankfully, that was not the case, and the film was set to release on February 14, 2024.

Just like Ryan Reynolds Deadpool, the film will be taking advantage of Valentine’s Day sales. However, that has not always worked in the favor of the films. While the Reynolds starrer did exceptionally well, not every film has followed the same lucky streak. The hype surrounding the film shows fans are already invested. In fact, no one can not wait to watch Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney rule the screen next year.
